Drawing on his years of experience Russell has been able to blend parcels of McLaren Vale shiraz grapes to create an intensely fragrant and complex wine that is full bodied and rich. Great to drink now and for many years to come.

Drink: A hearty wine, perfect for the depths of winter with great cellaring potential, up to 20 plus years.
Tasting: Shiraz is synonymous with McLaren Vale and this wine is great example of what the region has to offer. The nose is intensely fragrant and complex; dark cherries, plums, liquorice and ground peppercorns are just a few descriptors that come to mind. The palate is equally intense, rich and full bodied. The mouth coating tannins are reminiscent of eating fine quality dark chocolate.
